Follow along on my arts education journey.
I am a high school art teacher at Mission Vista Academy. In 2020, I graduated from San Diego state University with teaching credentials.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017.
In recent years, I worked in elementary, middle and high schools as a teacher; small group and workshop settings as a classroom assistant; and as an art studio coop intern. I currently reside in San Diego!

Why I teach​
​
I teach to be the teacher I needed when I was a student. I needed someone in my corner when it felt like the world was stacked against me, and now I get to be that person for my students.
